Mr. Dan David Abanilla, owns a small convenience store in Malaybalay, Bukidnon. He's sells canned goods, coffee, soft drinks, tobacco, and many more. Their store usually serve their local neighborhood as a convenient day-to-day alternative to out-of-town supermarkets, which offer people to stock up on everyday needs. We had a short interview with Mr. Abanilla about how he incorporated KaHero POS in his small convenience store.

Could you tell us about your business story?

My father is a retired AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) officer, while managing our farm we decided to open a small convenience store for fun and to generate respectable income. From my father's retirement money we started our small convenience store 3 years ago. We'd like to keep ourselves occupied when we're stuck at home.

How did you find KaHero POS?

We are looking for a system to help my small business organize the sales and inventory. Then, KaHero POS was introduced by my friend and I decided to try it since it's free and user-friendly. It was useful because this app had all the tools and all the features needed. KaHero POS is a great system.

What feature would you like to see in KaHero POS in the future?

I don't have the necessary features anymore because KaHero POS has all the feature I need in my convenience store.

What advice would you give to young people who want to start their own business?

Know what you want to sell and turn your idea into a plan. As an entrepreneur, you’ll need to stick to your business plan, make and respect your budget, dedicate time to developing your business, and achieve the objectives you've set for yourself. If you believe in what you’re doing, and the project you’re developing, it will make you more resilient and determined when faced with obstacles. Running a business take a lot of time but we never know the outcome of our efforts unless we do it.
